Once again the diligent team at takenote.ca has scrutinized the media streams for another catch of political wit, satire, and (mostly) respectful complaint. We continue to seek the ethical high road though may stumble occasionally into the gutter.
- The bizarre notion that women exists only to make babies still has some public presence.
- Out of the mouths of cats there is hatred of the dreaded crate, and of “going back.”
- Abortion remains potently conversational.
- Don-old’s new golf course — remember Arlington.
- It’s the hair see. And say NO, every way you can.
- Now here’s a challenge. Easy to wear a shirt; how about a Kamala tatoo? Now that’s commitment.
- Ride the Kamala wave.
- I finally figured out “Comma” – la. Duh!
- Harris has suggested that a Republican in cabinet is possible. Not sure how this would work, but here’s a likely candidate. There is a growing line at the library for her book, including me.
- “The Arch” on respectful and intelligent dialogue. Of no interest to the doom-and-gloom five-me-power club. Inspiring to others.
- In the end it all comes down to election day–expect for those who the GOP have managed to sideline in some swing states. Gerrymandering is just the start of manipulations currently in pay. If you can’t win, then cheat. Get out and vote, and make sure you can.
