With a bit of an apology, and my now diverted promise to move beyond post-debate political memes, the meme-verse has exploded with a huge variety of extreme-memes, a collection we at takenote.ca have distilled down to just a few for your consideration today.

“Cats and dogs” has inspired dog and cat lovers alike. Reference to Harris’ “turning the page,” a Mar-a-lago menu, (my personal revulsion is “Slab of Lab), Harris’ “winding up Don-Old,” and possibly the best, Trump’s latenight visitors (from Russian and North Korea) all make me smile.

What does not make me smile–I actually quake with fright–is that all this dark humour centres around the most important political debate of our time. Beyond all the Trumpian bluster is a corps of republican power-hungry mobsters who line up behind the petulant parallel-universe puppet creature seeing him as the gateway to Project 2025 pathway to conservative administrative power.

I am not sure the puppet understands who is pulling the strings.

Bravo Madam Vice-president. You came out swinging, a winning strategy as it turned out. You delivered a convincing knockout in what could be described as Round 2 or Round 3. There are more rounds to go as you are well aware. As support continues to flow your way–from celebrities, from former WH staffers, and some notable republicans–your team must be very busy watching state electoral processes, legal contests, and post-election strategies. Please, make pets, and everyone, safe again.
