Resist. Resist. Resist. Let me count the ways. Letters to the editor of papers of record (if any are left); social media engagement, bot or not; join the queue for radio call-in shows; march in local protest rallies which are growing in number and size throughout the US.

From a Canadian standpoint boycott American products and buy local, or at the least, Canadian. Divert travel plans around US destinations. If Trump wants an economic war, let’s take it to him. In a globalized world it will not be easy to reshape our economy domestically, though Trumpian isolation may actually make this possible. When you piss off your friends, a lot can happen.

Resist. Resist. Resist. Back in their districts, GOP lawmakers get an earful on DOGE and Musk. Some democratic states are pushing back. And how about Janet Mills, the Governor of Maine who told Trump that we’ll see you in court. A growing number of Americans now realize the dangerous collusion between Trump and Musk. And then, the US Postal Service, the FBI, the Pentagon . . .

Many now realize that voting democrat was not enough to protect the best version of America a few can remember.

Here at takenote.ca we will continue our popular series of political memes. Today I share a few directly connected with Elon Musk. (Have you sold your Tesla yet? Could you, even if you wanted?) I saw an image of a Tesla dealer at which an employee posted a small sign in a second-floor window saying, “we hate him too.” Not sure how long the sign, or the employee is still on site. Anyway, enjoy the political art, mostly in good humour, even witty at times. And remember:  Resist. Resist. Resist.
