Juno is 5 years old now – by Juno

Pictured here with MaPaw, Kathie, Juno is a popular dog blogger who has been far too quiet in recent months. Many of her blogs appear here.

Today, I am 5 years old. Hard to believe isn’t it? Or is it? I am in good physical condition. MaPaw cares for my diet, my teeth, and my coiffure, and truthfully my countenance. I enjoy the company of many friends, canine and human. I am eager to meet up with squirrels and ducks — all in good time. I have literally hundreds of follower and subscribers on takenote.ca. What more could I ask for. Nothing.

You may ask, how old am I in dog years? For this estimate I require a calculator, one that will compare dog years with human years based on breed. I am told that “I am 37 years old in human years and considered as a Young Adult dog.” Well that is indeed how I feel. I have gained only one pound over the last two years and the vet can still feel my ribs when palpated. I enjoy regular exercise; I sleep well, rising slowly each morning; I have no joint pain and my sight and hearing are just fine — or so I am told.

Most importantly, I am surrounded by love. And I return this love in abundance.

Happy Birthday Juno. Happy Birthday to me.
